Is there drop-in in the sauna?

Yes, there is drop-in in the sauna sessions, but you’re not guaranteed a ticket. If it’s full, then it’s full.

If you're going to the sauna after 3pm in the weekends you should buy a ticket in advance.

Unfortunately, there is no drop-in at the private saunas.

Can I buy tickets in advance for the sauna?

Yes, that’s no problem. You can buy tickets for all our saunas at salted.no/sauna.

Do you offer refunds?

No, we don't offer refunds on any of our tickets.

Can I stay longer in the sauna than the session I've bought a ticket for?

No. If you've bought a ticket for a time slot you'll have to leave by the end of that time slot. If you'd like to stay longer you'll have to buy a new ticket.

Is there an age limit for the sauna?

ID: 20 after 4 PM on Fridays

ID: 20 after 3 PM on Saturdays

ID: 20 after 7 PM on weekdays and Sundays

Do you sell swim wear?

Yes, we sell swimwear in the sauna reception!

Do you provide towels and slippers?

You can rent a towel in the bar for 50 NOK, but you'll have to bring your own slippers. It is not mandatory to wear slippers, but we recommend to bring some as the floor is really hot, and the showers are outside.

How do I become a member of SALT sauna club?

You can buy a membership for SALT sauna in the bar in Árdna. The membership costs 800 NOK and gives you discounted tickets for several of our sauna concepts, as well as some of the cultural events in the sauna.

The membership is valid for 12 months from purchase.

Can I buy a gift card for SALT?

We sell gift cards for our saunas. You can find our digital gift cards here: https://www.salted.no/gavekort-sauna.

Can I buy tickets for the floating saunas?

Yes, but not at SALT. The floating saunas are KOK Oslo's.

Do you have pools and showers?

We don’t have pools, but we have two cold water barrels. We also have two outdoor showers, where one is cold and one is heated.

What are the temperatures in the saunas?

The temperature in Árdna is about 50 degrees Celsius, and in the other saunas the temperature is around 70-85 degrees Celsius.

Do you have a place we can keep our belongings while using the sauna?

Yes, we do. We will provide you with a bag, and you will need a padlock to lock it. Bring your own padlock, or buy one for NOK 135.

What is a sauna ritual?

We have different kinds of rituals where our sauna masters blend essential oils into the water we pour on the ovens and then the sauna master «distribute/channels» the steam around the room in a ritualistic way. We also use birch whisks during the ritual. The sauna closes during the rituals so no new guests can enter, but it is of course okay to leave. Some of our guests experience that it’s a bit too intense or hot for them. The rituals lasts for appr. 10 minutes. The rituals are also known as aufgus.

Is the shower at Naustet Sauna hot or cold? And is it indoor or outside?

The shower is indoor and it is hot.

Do we have our own bathroom at Naustet Sauna when we book a private sauna?

Yes, you do. The bathroom has a toilet, sink and a shower with hot water.

Do we need to stand in the line for the outdoor bar if we are just going to the sauna?

No, you do not. There is a separate line for the sauna.

I have booked a sauna session. When is the last chance to enter the session if I can't attend the entire session?

The last chance to enter the Sauna Session is 45 min before each session ends.

What's the age limit?

The age limit at SALT is 18 years after 7 pm every day. There are some exceptions when it comes to events, so you should check the description for the event you want to attend to be sure.

Can we bring our dog to SALT?

Yes please! Your dog is welcome to enjoy our outdoor seating and Café Naustet as much as you are. However, you're not allowed to bring your dog to the sauna or any of our events.

Can I buy tickets for upcoming events in the bar in advance?

No, tickets for upcoming events have to be bought online at https://www.salted.no/program. However, it is possible to buy tickets for the event happening at the door – as long as there are available tickets.

Do you have giftgards?

Yes, we have giftcards for the sauna here and giftcards for cultural events here

Can we bring our own drinks to SALT?

No, we don't allow this under any circumstances. You are welcome to bring your own food, if you like.

Can we eat at SALT?

Yes! We have several food trucks on the area. Which food trucks and how many depends on the season. See more about this on salted.no/food (see also top menu).

Do you have a lost & found?

Yes. We keep all items we find for about two weeks. We keep them in Naustet. Drop by during opening hours and our staff will help you look for whatever you've lost.

Can you change date/time on event tickets?

No, even if the show goes over a period of dates or several times in one day we can not change your tickets between these.

Where is the nearest parking spot?

We do not have a parking lot at SALT, but there are some spots in the near area where you can park. Vippa or the parking house at Oslo S are the closest, you can also park in the streets if there are spots set up for that.
